Saint Patrick's Day is one of the busiest holidays in Deadwood, and this year that seems especially true. Even though today - Thursday - is the official holiday (lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit, all you Irish!), Deadwood tends to celebrate on weekends. That means we have lots of opportunities to celebrate with our guests.
Take breakfast. This morning, in honor of the holiday, Laura served up a poblano corned beef hash with green fruit: kiwi, grapes, melon, and green apple. But since we get several days to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day up in Deadwood, our weekend guests will get the chance to sample the menu, too. Sláinte!
