The 1899 Inn is an intimate bed and breakfast in Deadwood’s historic Presidential District. Our three guest rooms have views of the ponderosa forests of the Black Hills, yet the inn is less than a five-minute walk from the saloons, gaming halls and shops of downtown Deadwood.

Built at the end of the 19th century by a wealthy merchant family, the 1899 Inn is a historic restoration-in-progress. While the home retains much of its original stained glass, light fixtures and vintage hardware, guests can witness restoration of trim, plaster walls and double-hung windows across the house.
