Haunted House History Tours Start This Week
The Adams House, a historic house museum just a few doors down the street from the 1899 Inn, will start their Paranormal Investigation Tours later this week. They've partnered with Black Hills Paranormal Investigators, a local group of enthusiasts that's spent a lot of time investigating reports of the paranormal in Deadwood. If you decide to join a tour, you'll get to see how paranormal researchers do their work. The tours should be pretty small and intimate, so there will be plenty of chances to chat with the group and be involved in their investigating.
The tours start this Friday, October 16th, 2015, and will also be held on October 17th, 23rd, and 24th. There are four tour times to choose from each night: 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10:30 p.m. If you're a member of Deadwood History (and you should be), the tour will run you $30 per person. Non-members pay $5 more. They'll throw in a shirt if you take the tour, but the physic readings are $20 extra. If you're between the ages of 12 and 16, you'll need an adult with you. Kids younger than 12 will need to find something else to do (the new arcade, maybe?)
If you're interested, be sure to call Deadwood History and make a reservation at 605-578-3724.
