check-in and check-out

Official check-in hours are from 2:00 to 6:00. We are always happy to accommodate earlier or later check-ins, but ask that you please give us a call beforehand to let us know when to expect you. You can reach us at 864-210-1899, or reply to this email. Check-out is 11am.

 

deposits & cancellation

Shortly after you submit your reservation, we'll charge your credit card for the first night of your stay. A separate receipt will be emailed to you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. 

If you wish to cancel your stay more than two weeks in advance of your arrival and you've booked directly with us via our website or by phone, we're happy to refund your deposit, less a $25 administrative fee. If you need to change your travel plans less than two weeks in advance of your check-in date, we aren't able to refund your deposit - but our staff will be happy to help you change your stay to alternative dates, depending on availability. Cancellation policies may vary for special events; please see the specific policies in your confirmation e-mail. 

For cancellations for stays booked with one our booking partners (including Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, or Airbnb, among others), please see the policies on those websites or check your confirmation e-mail. 

 

We're happy to host children 12 years of age and older. 

We're animal lovers, but sadly, we can't host any pets or emotional support animals.

Some of our guest rooms are on the third floor of the house, which requires climbing two flights of stairs. We are happy to help carry bags up, but if you are uncomfortable using stairs, please let us know as soon as possible so we can either ensure you a room on a lower floor or help you find other accommodations. Additionally, we like to double-check that our guests know we have cats on property. They are only allowed into guest bedrooms by your invitation, and we strive to keep the house as fur-free as possible, but we don't want to surprise anyone with allergies.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies we should be aware of. We're happy to accommodate special requests. Breakfast is not included with AirBnB reservations for the months of October through May. 

 

The house was built in 1899, and it's a restoration-in-progress. You may notice some missing trim, sticky doors and cracked plaster here and there. If you don't mind a few historic quirks, it's a great Victorian home in which to stay.

Parking at the Inn is all on-street, and is plentiful. Our street is a hill, but if you are more comfortable on level terrain, the level street directly across from us is also available for your use. If you have a trailer or other large vehicle, or other concerns about parking, please give us a call so we can discuss options.
