The house has taken on some spookier decor this week in honor of Deadweird, Deadwood's giant Halloween party happening this Saturday night. The weather should be perfect: highs near 60F (14C) during the day, and an overnight low at 40F (4 C). For October in the Black Hills, that's downright balmy. 

While most of the action will be down on Main Street, we'll have a lower-key Halloween party up at the 1899 Inn. Our Victorian-era creepy ambiance will be the perfect backdrop for classic horror films, readings from Edgar Allen Poe, a few board games, and goodies including traditional German pretzels and hot mulled apple cider.
